Forget-Me-Not /Myosotis/
Forget-me-nots belong to the borage family. They are annual, biennial, or perennial herbaceous plants with simple, entire, alternately arranged leaves. The flowers are tubular, with stalks, arranged in clusters.
The scientific botanical name for the Myosotis genus (myosōta and myosōtis, idis, from ancient Greek μύς - mouse and ούς, ωτός - ear) - mouse's ear - is given due to the shape and fuzziness of the leaves of several species resembling a mouse's ear.
In most of Europe and in some non-European languages, this plant is named after the concept of forget-me-not (for example, in English, German, Polish, Danish, Swedish, French, Russian, Armenian, etc.).
