This is a perennial, small (the length of the creeping stem is 20-50 cm) plant of the mint family. Violet-blue flowers in clusters. Blooms from May to mid-July. It grows throughout the territory of Latvia in groups in various forests (except dry coniferous and swampy forests), shrubs, road edges, and weed patches.
