Lungwort /Pulmonaria officinalis/

It is a perennial herb of the borage family, a small plant (up to 25 cm). Widely found in Latvia, it grows in deciduous and mixed forests, as well as in shrubs.

Used in folk medicine for treating coughs, asthma, respiratory tract inflammations, and diarrhea. Lungwort juice is applied for washing wounds and injuries, as well as for gargling.
